West Bromwich Albion recorded a third successive win on Saturday afternoon to ensure they remained top of the Championship table by two points.
Slaven Bilic’s side defeated Sheffield Wednesday thanks to a late penalty from substitute Charlie Austin.
The Owls looked to have done enough to take a share of the spoils when Steven Fletcher scored a spot-kick of his own just before the hour mark, and that was after Hal Robson-Kanu had opened the scoring inside the first ten minutes of the match.

But Austin remained composed to slot home just his second goal of the season to hand the Baggies all three points.
Albion now have a five-point cushion inside the automatic promotion places as many supporters took to Twitter to share their thoughts with a vast majority singling out loanee Matheus Pereira for praise.
One member of the Hawthorns crowd claimed the 23-year-old was one of the best two players she had ever seen in 45 years; Laurie Cunningham being the one to come close, while another believes the Brazilian could become a legend like Cyrille Regis and Tony Brown.
Others labelled him ‘exceptional’ and ‘class’ with a further fan stating that Pereira is the best midfielder the club have had in years.
Here’s the best of the reaction:
