Everton announced on their official website on Tuesday evening that they were putting a price freeze on all season tickets for the 2017/18 campaign, and Toffees fans were quick to have their say on the news.
In a statement, the Merseyside outfit said that they want to ensure that coming to the football at Goodison Park “remains affordable for fans of all ages” following record-breaking sales for the current season.
While we still haven’t reached the halfway stage of the campaign, the Blues faithful have the opportunity to secure their seat for next term, where hopefully they will still be a Premier League club following the appointment of Sam Allardyce as their new manager and some improved performances and results in the last week.
Everton supporters took to social media to give their thoughts on the big announcement, and while one said “those prices are actually brilliant”, another said “thanks for making me laugh” with the decision being made more than five months before the season ends.
