The former Wigan Athletic player, who has been at United for the past eight years, seemed to be touched by Neville’s compliment and decided to thank the former full-back via Twitter.
Valencia, who played the entire 90 minutes of United’s 1-0 win over Benfica, has started every one of the team’s eight Premier League games this season.
