According to a recent Football FanCast poll, a large majority of Tottenham fans want Mauricio Pochettino to keep Son Heung-min in the starting XI for the visit of Inter Milan to Wembley in the Champions League.
Son looked like he was starting to find his best form in the 3-1 win over Chelsea on the weekend as he scored a brilliant solo goal by powering past Jorginho, before evading a poor challenge from David Luiz and firing low past Kepa Arrizabalaga.
The South Korean had a busy summer as he represented his country at both the World Cup and the Asian Games, meaning he missed the start of the season with Spurs, but it’s clear that fans now want to see him as a regular starter again.
The North London side are currently third in Group B, behind Barcelona and the Italian giants Inter. Pochettino’s men need at least a draw to remain in with a chance of qualifying, but with an away trip to the Nou Camp in their final game the Lilywhites will be hoping to take all three points against Inter.
Check out the full results below, where 86 per cent of Spurs fans said that the 26-year-old winger should start.
